This is an 8 hour course that focuses on responsible captive husbandry of wild felines. The course is suitable for both novices and "old hands" who want to improve their level of knowledge.  This course was professionally developed in accordance with a nationally recognized standard for technical training known as the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). The course includes an instructor lead, multi-media presentation, a 83 page student text, workshops, and final exam. Students who pass the exam receive a decorative certificate denoting successful completion of the course.

The husbandry Course is in conjunction with the Annual Feline Conservation Federation Convention. Lodging for the convention attendees is at the Hyde Park Villas, in the Myrtle beach Kingston Plantain Resort.. To reserve a villas, call the Hotel reservations department at 800-876-0010 and state you are part of the FCF Convention.  Important you must reserve before June 22 to insure availability and the special convention price. The FCF Convention room rate is $155 single bedroom, $225 double bedrooms, and $285 for three bedroom villas.
